Triumph TR7 Convertible    

Launched in 1974, the TR7 differed greatly from previous TR’s, mainly in the fact it was a fixed head plus also a wedge shape, which was very popular in the 1970’s. Because of US legislation issues at launch, it meant the TR7 convertible couldn’t be launched until 5 years later in 1979, initially in the US and then in early 1980 in the UK.

Over 115,000 TR7’s were made of which just under 29,000 were convertibles, so 25%.

There’s nothing like open top motoring on a warm Summer’s day, and this chap is certainly enjoying his TR7.
