Triumph Herald 1200 Convertible

EJS 219 D

Year: 1966
Make: Triumph
Model: Herald Convertible

Event: TSSC/TR Register Triumph Weekend, Stratford Racecourse August 2019

The Herald 1200 was launched in 1961 with increased power of 39 bhp over the original 948cc engine, although the actual engine was 1147cc not 1200cc.

The convertible is a pretty looking car with a rakish line back to its tail fins, which were the design feature to have in the early 1960’s.

With an EJS registration, we can tell this was originally registered in Ross and Cromerty in Scotland
