Peugeot upgraded the suspension on the 404 Estate in 1962 which gave better ride and at the same time introduced 3 models. These were the Commerciale, as we see here, the Break and The Family version, which had 7 seats.

The 404 was made from 1960 to 1975 and just have that Gallic look about them ! See Day of the Jackal film !
