The 190Sl was launched in 1954 at the New York motorshow to rave reviews before coming available in 1955.
It had the classic Mercedes 1950’s look and as the younger more affordable brother to the larger 300SL.
As the name suggests, it had a 1.9 litre straight 4 engine which generated a handy 105 bhp.
This Japanese registered model here looks pretty cool and although it’s a black and white photo, we think it may be a lovely bright red with a white factory fitted optional hard top.
