Launched in 1950 at the Earls Court Motor Show, this was one of the major post war new cars available to the British public.
Only available initially in Consul or Zephyr trim, the Zodiac was added in 1953 as an upmarket Zephyr and was initially called the Zephyr Zodiac, which can see the badges on the front in our photo. It had a 2.2 litre engine that developed 71 bhp and took it from 0-60mph in just over 20 seconds ! Hard to imagine that these days !
Our photo shows a sad looking car patiently waiting for a restorer to wave their magic wand and make it look like new again !
