The Daimler Sovereign models from 1969 were based on the Jaguar XJ6 but with a different grille which was the traditional Daimler fluted one.

In 1973, after 4 years production, it was facelifted to become the Series II with a higher front bumper and a lower grille.

We’ve acknowledged the copyright to WH Photographic on the back of this old photo, but can’t find if they’re still around now.
