Built on the same floorplan as the Jaguar 420G, Daimler produced over 4,100 of these over 24 years from 1968 to 1992.
The front styling came from the Jaguar 420/Daimler Sovereign of the time.
It’s been one of the most popular limousines ever made and is still going strong with many countries using it as official state cars.
It’s also widely used by chauffer hire companies and funeral companies transporting relatives behind the hearse.
Here we see one being used by a possible transport for a mayor, with it’s flag showing, yet the registration HJ 1 is now on an Audi A8.
