The 3000 Mk1 was introduced in 1959 and replaced the earlier 100/6 model in the same body.

It had a C Series 3 litre engine and was the first of the real Big Healeys.

Seen by many as driven by hairy armed muscled drivers, they were very successful in motorsport, especially rallies.
