We bought this old photo of a Daimler Dart in storage at an old collectors fair, as we just loved it !
Introduced in 1959, it was ike Marmite in that you either loved it or loathed it, with it’s very unusual front design.
Fitted with a 140 bhp 2.5 litre V8, which gave 155ftlbs of torque, it was certain very quick for it’s day.
The same engine was fitted to Daimler’s Jaguar Mk2 lookalike, the 5.5 Litre Saloon.
