Event: TSSC/TR Register Triumph Weekend, Stratford Racecourse August 2019

The Triumph Herald van was launched in 1962 and was called the Courier Van. It was a modern looking van and extremely manoeuvrable due it’s very great steering lock, it was ideal for self-employed businesses such as plumbers or electricians.

However, the opposition quickly caught up and offered cheaper vans which effectively priced the Courier out of the market, meaning Triumph dropped them in 1964.

Nice looking vans even now, but they’re very rare to find. With its NVS registration, we can tell this was first registered in Greenock.
